The big problem is over the last 10 or 15 yeas the candy company we remember like Lifesaver and Jolly Rancher have been bought up by larger conglomerates and their product mix has been scaled back to nothing.

If you can find a Brach's bulk candy section at a super market their Grape Fruit Slices are very close to the old Grape LifeSavers.

Awww man! This is driving me nuts! I've never been head over heals for lifesavers, but I did like this now defunct flavor that basically melded fruit with heat. I thought it was Thermo-Fruits or something, but I remember the flavors within all had nuclear-sounding names. And they were GOOOOOOD! (This was early 90's in San Diego's Balboa Park area). I've looked on a lifesavers wiki with no luck for what I'm reminiscing about, nor for grape. Nothing on Candystand.com either. Dumb bastards!!!

If http://www.bevnet.com can sell so many weird flavors, many from the past, why can't someone do the same for candy, damn them!
