Ew. NO!!! I was a bridesmaid in my friend Erin's wedding, and I chose not to get my dress altered. As a result, the top kept sliding down and revealing my purple bra. Because I was a bridesmaid, there are many pictures of my purple bra, and I will never live that down. I did not wear revealing tops to other weddings, including my own.
