Eight minutes to work, 15 minutes from it. But then I live in New Hampshire.

Our commute is 10 minutes to drop off nick then 20 minutes to get to work, not too shabby.

My current commute is 55 miles one-way--1:15 up, and 1:30-1:45 back. If not traffic leaving during rush hour, it's construction holding me up afterward. Fortunately, the commute goes down to 0 starting Dec. 1, as I'll be working from home then, with only the odd commute here and there.

used to have a 45 minute - 1hr drive (or an hour on the train, on a good day).

Now I have a 20 minute drive or a 35-40 minute commute by train.

My current commute varies on traffic...in the morning, it typically takes me 40-45 minutes to get to work, but has taken as long as two hours recently. It just depends what time I leave. I try to leave a little later, and it often cuts my drive time nearly in half.

Going home, minimum an hour...if not more. Traffic SUCKS in Detroit, too many people, the roads suck and lots of construction ALL THE TIME!!! Yet, despite the so called improvements...traffic never seems to get any better. :(

Any longer than an hour in traffic is too long. My goal is to get my commute back to about 35 minutes.

Any particular reason you're asking us this...?

I'm not exactly sure where my breaking point would be because my longest commute has always been around an hour. I don't think it's the length of the trip that would annoy me, but the amount of time spent in traffic. Stinkin traffic.
